Meanwhile Ontario is breaking winter temperature weather records. Supposed to get up to 13/16C today, then back down to -7C overnight.

Not that I’m complaining; I was driving my miata all last week on wonderfully unsalted roads.

Be glad. I begin to suffer when it goes over 30.

one or two over 40 is fine, just not when there’s 4 or so in a row

The cold is a love-hate thing for me. On the plus side, very few (if any?) venomous animals/bugs will live in a cold climate, so there isn’t a whole lot out to kill you here.

-7 ambient is actually not that bad. -7 as a result of windchill will make you actively seeks ways to stay inside the house. We do see +30 with humidity regularly in the summer, so good times are to be had for half of the year :)

The other weekend I drove Sydney to Canberra with no aircon when it was 43ish outside. Probably lost a couple of litres of sweat on the trip.

:(

If March keeps giving us 30s I’ll be happy enough. 40 is a bit far anyway.

I’ve finally got AC in the MR2, I gotta USE IT!

I think we hit that every day from like May to September. We were hitting 100F well into Fall last year. Had a 120F day as well. Summer is coming...

This is not a bad thing. The only time 40°C is acceptable is with a - in front.

I remember a couple of Michigan winters I experienced; -20c with a wind chill to -25c. All my nopes.

Anything about 25 is foolish and creates unnecessary suffering.
